Please CC the list when you reply.

Chances are the configuration files aren't being deleted. These are stored in ~/.purple (~ = User's home folder). I use only the portable version on Win7, so I don't know exactly what folder they are stored under, but if you do a search under your user folder you should be able to find it without issue.

I agree. Usually that's all you have to do but it doesn't seem to be enough. I can't seem to reset the port numbers and the server list.

Not a Windows 7 user, but normally you simply open the control panel,
open add/remove programs, wait for the list to appear, scroll down to
Pidgin, click remove and that should do it.
