seems ok. remove "none" from resources, leave it blank.
give some name in local aliases. on second tab, Advanced, check the following: connection security: Require encryption connect port: 5222 file transfer proxies: proxy.eu.jabber.org tick "show custom smileys" leave remaining things unfilled, unticked. in third tab, proxy proxy type: Use Global Proxy settings. That is how my settings go, that are working. You can try them. Thanks. -- Rawat On 5/25/2012 3:21 AM India Time, _Vince_ wrote:

Set the Protocol to Google Talk, enter your username (everything before the @), your domain (everything after the @, often gmail.com), and enter your password. Yes, it will change to XMPP automatically, that's normal. Note that if you use two-factor authentication (where Google asks for a 6 digit number from a random number generator) then you need to use an application-specific password, otherwise use your Google password. Don't touch any Advanced or Proxy settings. -- Dave Warren http://www.hireahit.com/ http://ca.linkedin.com/in/davejwarren _______________________________________________
