FWIW the Trillian IMPP would be fine to develop as a prpl for libpurple. It
mirrors XMPP in a lot of ways. Unfortunately a few things are missing from
their IMPP docs but I've been in contact with the Trillian devs on multiple
occasions and they've always been very helpful with any questions I had
about the docs... Although now they're at a point of "well you're the only
one who cares about the docs so we probably won't bother updating them":D

I'd still love to have a go at writing a prpl for IMPP but it's waaaaay
down the list on my TODO, but if anyone else wanted to take a crack at it,
I'd be more than happy to guide/mentor them *hint hint*
