One of the easiest ways is using the IRC Helper plugin thats part of the purple-plugin-pack which provides some extra options in the Advanced tab of the IRC account for authentication.
The other option is using a buddy pounce (Tools->Buddy Pounces) to automatically reply to the auth requests.
