Like father, like son is the way to describe what is happening in Gaza these days. Israel as a son dares to ignore the UN call for a cease-fire, but for the sake of showing respect to the new father’s inauguration, they are implementing their own cease-fire. How could such a small country act just as stubbornly as his father? Israel is, just like his father, very arrogant in every aspect and, just like his father, enjoys war and killing. Just like his father, he is proud of being a democratic country, but, just like his father, he always violates democratic values when they do not fit with his ambitions and goals. I think the Gaza tension will create a new generation that will hate Israel more, will hate the United States and its allies (UK and France) and will generate more terrorism. Be aware, we can not reduce terror with terror, and to solve the Middle East problem peacefully is the only way to eliminate terrorism. May God direct them all to talk to solve the Gaza tension rather than to kill more innocent people. M.
