I have a new Mandriva 2011 (i.e. Linux)
installation on a 64-bit box.
FFTW3 comes with the installation. I have
added the development libraries.

Building Aliki results in

/usr/bin/ld: skipping incompatible /uusr/lib/libfftw3f.so
when searching for -lfftw3f
/usr/bin/ld: skipping incompatible /uusr/lib/libfftw3f.a
when searching for -lfftw3f
/usr/bin/ld: cannot findr -lfftw3f
collect2: ld returned 1 exit status
make: *** [aliki] Error 1

I am puzzled as to what the 'incompatibility' is.

Having used FFTW3F on various Linux boxes and
a Mac, this is new to me. Anyone else seen it?

Michael
