No, as far as I can tell the M or front component stops at figure of eight. Any 
more and it would start to point backwards!

As far as I know, the width control is just the amount of Y signal used for the 
stereo decode.
The figure of 8 is always at 90 degrees.
I’m sure that the level does not go wider than 100%
