I dont understand the thinking behind a piece of gear aimed at professional use that relies on potentiometers to set such crucial parameters, and that without any attempt at calibration. A Chinagraph mark or a scratch on the paint as a reference where to reset the knob for future use is not good enough and, when it comes to adjusting spread, a figure of 0 to 10 means nothing. RME uses a similarly unhelpful system of 0 to 1 in Totalmix, but at least it is accurately repeatable, and one can work out what an n dB change to the M or S channel means in terms of angular spread.

End of rant.
