That’s my ST450 in the pictures and I believe that my Rycote & Windjammer set up for it is the prototype for the current system. It does indeed work well.
If you’re using a TetraMic, you’ll definitely need something similar. I suppose it depends on what you’re trying to achieve with the recording and what sort of vessel you’re sailing in, whether the engine sound becomes boring or a mere annoyance. I was mostly stuck below decks with the recording kit, so didn’t have much to look at except meters. Once again, best of luck with the session.
