Depends a bit on when they were granted (laws change) but if you think in
terms of two decades you'd be on the money, at least for "utility" patents
and maybe a bit less for "design" patents though, in fact, "copyright"
lasts longer, in general. All this depends on continued payment of fees to
the relevant patent body and may change again when/if TTIP is signed.
Please note, however, I'm NOT a patent lawyer so treat all these statements
with suspicion :-)
