This smells like a secondary harddrive failure (which you mentioned
later in that post)

If that harddrive is still installed, remove it. The BIOS is seeing
that it is there but when trying to read it, it can't, times out
after 1-2 minutes and then offers to contiune.

OR, the drive has been removed and the BIOS thinks its still there,
in which case you'll have to go into BIOS/CMOS setup and change
"Drive D type: Not Installed".
