Thats nothing. I've been away for more then a week now.
My modem stoped working! And it still is! I still got my ISDN,
thankfully. But its hard work to get it to work under DOS and
leave enough memory to anything. I barly got enough mem for
PMail, and then I can only receive, not send. SMTPOP12 do not work
with the UKA_PPP ISDN driver for some reason... it worked fine
with the Arachne driver, which do not work with ISDNs.
(as for receiving, I still use PMPOP to receive POP3.)
I'm getting e-mail with PMail and sending with Windows 95 on
Netscape 3.04g. Its a real pain. Anyone knows what in the world
happened? I upgraded my BIOS (its of a Soyo mother board, BB.
BIOS version was version 1.0), and everything went ok with only
one problem: My modem stoped working. I then replaced the ISA modem
with a PCI one, and it still not working. Even Windows cant find it,
which caused Tech support to scratch their head, look at the ceiling
and go home. I was told something about "manual configuration", however
I barly if ever dare to touch anything complex then HD installing
when it comes to the BIOS. (Its not that I'm afraid to touch it,
its just that I dont know WHAT to touch so I prefer not to touch
it since I can only do more damage.). If anyone got an idea, it will
be greatly appriciated.
