Okay, go into the bios and using pencil and paper, write down EVERYTHING
there. (you do remember how to operate pencil and paper?) Now you can futz
about to your hearts content changing things, one at a time, to see what
your computer does, and always have the original to change back. When you
find a setting that fixes a problem, note it on your sheet of paper. Save
that paper in a safe place.
Saved my butt twice already, it has!
