The culprit is/was:
LoadImages No
The login page require an initial cookie with linkexchange.com
domain, while the index page at either www.linkexchange.com
or member.linkexchange.com doesn't provide any cookies at all.
You have to download the banner *image* to get the initial
cookie <g>.
And guess what? I *can* login with both Arachne 1.46 beta
and 1.47 beta :) Sorry folks, false alarm, there's nothing
wrong with Arachne. Her cookies handling already perfect
since 1.46 beta... as advertised.
