Then never mind; sorry.  For many non-plug-n-pray ISA modems, and
even some PnP ISA models with plug-n-pray disabled (e.g. US Robotics
with the COM port set via jumpers) you may have to set the IRQ to the
ISA bus.  However, this isn't you.

I've installed many, many US Robotics ISA modems; my brain has
developed this odd notion that that's the only kind of modem there
is....
