Yes, you can copy the compressed binary image ( dblspace.cvf, IIRC)
- AND - its "FAT TABLE" ( dblspace.000, or similar ) to another
hard disk.  However, you must have both, or the big file will be
useless.  Under MSDOS or WIN, loading the DBLSPACE driver ( or DRVSPACE
on later versions ) will sort out the compressed drive's contents
just fine.

( I backed up my old AT's  20Mb compressed hard disk to 24 or so
1.2 Meg floppies.  Later, I wanted to get some old files from it,
and had no problem restoring/reading from the compressed "drive"
on my W95 machine...)
