Neither do I - they just end up doing so...  The attitude of 'na, nobody uses
these things nowadays' also crops up with examiners here in England - I
remember a couple of years ago when I sat some examination or other in maths,
the front cover said 'Do *NOT* use a calculator in this assessment'...  Guess
who pulled out a slide rule?

Also, about 5 years ago (I think, lemme check the date on the filesystem
sometime) when I first installed Linux for a laugh, I was telling someone about
it and his response was 'UNIX?  Why do you want to run UNIX?!?!  That died with
the seventies.'  Hmmm...
