Twain, that is that seemingly universal (in doze, but many kinds of
software) interface. It has a console look, with buttons and stuff, well
shaded and toned graphics, real fly on the animated covers with knobs
underneath and such. it controls a variety of things, resolution, color
scale, quick-scanning, selecting, zooming, and so on. It was with the
software accompanying my scanner, and also with corel photopaint/draw7 and
with "picture publisher" photo software, also shows up with other scanners,
and other graphics applications.
Okay, so it's common, and can't therefor be too hard to get the source?
well, if ya like, I'll send you the twain support stuff that came with my
scanner to pick apart. Yup, it requires doze, but perhaps someone here is
up to cracking it.
Just request private for a 'sample" copy.
