Spam means 3 things for me:
1)I download extra mail that I do not want for to my mail-box.
Knowing a large number of people via internet and E-Mail and
being registered in 3 mailing list is filling it up allready,
and having spam doesnt make it easier.
2)Hitting "delete" is not the problem. Its the fact that I waste
bandwidth and PAY for downloading this stuff. In my country, I
pay by minutes to the telecommunication company for being connected
to the internet via a phone-line. When you get 20 messages of spam
daily, all of them are quite big, and with your ISP being slow as
usuall (0.3k-2k per second usually) "hitting delete" is no longer
the factor.
3)These messages are not ment for me and do not help me. May I
remind you, I am from Israel, which is located in the middle-east.
Most of the messages that I get concern a sale of used cars somewhere
in california, and other US related services. Not only it doesnt
help me, it only gives me more problems as I mentioned in the previous
topic. I have nothing to gain from this, I do not want this "service",
and I am being forced to get it. I do not like these terms.
4)I get about 4 copies of the same spam letter each week.
5)Usually the "remove" service is an excuse for getting you to get
more spam or just inoperative. Any company which utilise these tricks
does not deserve any respect from my side, and I will treath it as if
it had attacked me. Therefor, I will attack back. And in the extent
of my capabilities (you'll be suprised how you can brake someone
without braking the international law).
