Hi. I got several questions regarding an IrDA interface:
I've just suddenly got reminded that I got an IrDA interface installed
in my Laptop. Now the questions are, can I use it in DOS? I never
actually saw a DOS program that uses it.
I sepose that IrDA can both receive and send Infra-red signals.
Now, this is not the most-practical, but it can be quite a nice
Hobby.. ;) I wander if it is possible to use this port to control,
for example, my TV? Just record the signals that come out of a
remote-control, and then by re-sending them apon user request
you can control devices that use infra-red remote-controls
to operate! And if you can do it in DOS, well.. wouldnt that be
nice? ;)
Lets add the a hi-tech dimention to the "who got the TV remote-control"
wars!
