IrDA can, in theory, be used to control devices - as long as the same carrier
frequency etc. is used I suppose... I think there's a prog out there that does
it not sure what OS it uses. Certainly I've tried to get both my palmtop
(Psion Siena, IrDA compliant hardware, non-compliant protocol :() and my PC
(with an Adaptec dongle) to do this, but I've met with limited success.
