If we could only find *one* registered version of VMiX 386, that would
likely be possible... if the author is "erased" (as his name in Spanish
would imply)...

There are lots of legal means to search for the whereabouts of missing
persons -- for a price. If we don't come up with something tangible after
awhile, we may just have to go that route.

It's not just the lawyers. Sometimes relatives hang onto such things --
sometimes thinking to hold out for "the highest bidder" -- or for no other
good reason at all.
