i am trying to upgrade an old copy of windows
I put disk 1 into my A: and type: setup at the A:\> prompt
Setup starts and displays a blue screen with a line of yellow blocks
across the bottom of the screen
then it says to Insert disk 1 into A: yet I already have disk 1 in the
drive! (:
I try All of the other six installation disks - I get same
message: Insert disk 1 into A:
and then I try #7; the printer drivers disk and that's when i get 'setup
error #83' (:
does anyone have any ideas?
