Anyway I still think that DOS GUI discussion in SurvPC is relevant.
Afterall, every once and awhile people ask me if I can do something
about their old computers. They want it to have internet access,
get games for it, ETC. And what they always ask is if I can find
an easy GUI for it. When I start saying something like "Why not just
learn the CLI?" or "I dont really know where to find any.." they
loss all intrest and walk away. Later on ending up with buying a new
computer on which they dont do much more then what they actually did
on the previous one. So, for this reason DOS GUI discussion is
relevant.
