It was meant to be easy, but unusual forms, like plural on -j, which is unknown to
most language groups, made
it harder to learn. It has been quite popular in Central Europe and a lot of
literature has been translated
(Hamleto too). Creating a artificial language has not been succesful so far (Volap�k,
Ido), reviving dead ones
has (Hebrew) as well as cleaning languages of "foreign" words (Icelandic, Czech) has.
