Helo Every one,
Well, the new drive is installed, and I now have lots and lots of free
space!!!
I installed this drive on my 80486 dx 2 50 mhz computer whith a 1993 date
bios...
This computer is not supposed to be able to use a drive larger than 540 MB
in size..
The Cmos would not let me select auto for hard drive 1.
When I did a message appeared:
this drive is not auto configurable press any key
  so I pressed any key.
I was back to the menue for hard drive 1, and none was selected.
This was the problem, it kept getting set to none and wouldn't accept in
custom the cylinders heads and sects..
The bios didn't have enough digets, as a result the hard drive kept
failing to initialize..
  To my uter dismay!
The way I finally got it to initialize was to select custom setup and put
in the largest numbers it would accept, the numbers wore wrong, but it
worked!
The hard drive comes whith I geus it is a bios extender called ezbios.
This loads befor the drive can be accessed.
  It seems to work!!
  Nock on would!
I really didn't think it would work.
  I feal lucky!
  Pete
