Another related question: How to interface the HP-IB (GP-IB) parallel
connectors with RS-232 signals on a D25 cable? I have a circa-1986
HP 9000 "host" computer (up to 8users easily via the MUX, which are
serial DB25's for "dumb" terminals). But it'd be nice to use PARALLEL
(or Centronics-type) printers, etc. with the HP-version GP-IB's.
If nothing else, I'll probably try connecting an adopted Zenith PC to it
using some kind of VT100 terminal emulator and, among other things,
get kermit working as a slow, crude way to back-up materials. I may
have ProComm already on either the Zenith or the Telex PC (more later).
Regards to all; this is a great list! -PR
