Hello, I acquired an "Apple 5.25 Drive", which I beleive
was used with an Apple IIe; its FCC ID is BCG5K5A9M0107.
It has a cable terminated with a DB-19 male connector and
there's e recessed DB-19 female for daisy-chaining (I
would think). Any ideas on using it with something else?
It's in a plastic case and is powered through the cable.
BTW, I joined this list in the last month or so because I
will need help getting two old surviving dinosaurs back to
work: a Zenith PC and a Telex 2160 (I think); more on those
two once I try booting them, but I'd like to swap out a 5.25
drive in one or both with an "obsolete" 3.5 DS/DD drive, for
starters. (I was told that the Zenith doesn't recognize its
hard disk; we'll see...) I was able to boot it from a floppy
with DOS 2.10 (!) on it, probably ought to update that! :-/
TIA, - Pete
