Or you could go download Cetus Wordpad for free and use it to read those
documents.
Now, I haven't done extensive testing to see what all it can do, but it
opens and reads the .doc files produced by M$Word. Complete with
formatting! You can also edit and write therein. Haven't used it on
embedded pics yet.
