My Arachne directory is c:\arachne . I have some .htm files in
c:\learnhtm . Using the Arachne 'desktop', if I select C:\ then
learnhtm, it works fine. If I select \.. (which brings us to c:\), the
machine locks when opening the file. On selecting \.. then learnhtm,
Arachne shows the current directory as c:\arachne\..\learnhtm . I tried
opening files from command prompt and other programs using that
notation; except for Arachne (wwwman), it always works.
I just now replaced core.exe with the one from 1.48 beta, and it works
well and does not lock when doing this. Hrmm..
