I was not refering to LFNB3 but to LFNDIR that works on any flawor of DOS
(not limited to DR/Open like LFNB3 is). It's much better since I don't have
to switch OS (DR/Open was a little buggy back in 7.01 when I last did a big
tryout).
Why lfndir doesn't work on CDs I have no idea - I haven't dug through the
code and can't even make a guess at this point. But CDs are accessed
difrently than your HD so that might be it (it is a networked dirve in DOS
you know).

Not at this point ("LFN for Pascal/C" project is laid on ice for now and I
haven't heard of any other project than this single one).
