:) I was thinking about this yesterday. Two major problems arise:
-lack of true multitasking, it's much harder to have the client
running in the background. Using it in a "screensaver-mode"
(go to full activity when the user doesn't do anything for x minutes)
should be possible however.
-lack of standarized ppp conectivity. The client should either contain
an Internet-dialer with good instructions & support, or should be able
to use most common diallers/ppp-stacks (UKA-PPP, EPPPD, KLOS, etc...)
It seems fun to me, lets see how much power is hidden in "obsolete"/
"totaly outdated"/"unusable old"/"prehistoric" computers.
