Subject: More Computer HW Issues

I suppose this is sort of offtopic but given the wealth of computer setup knowledge on
this list [MIXMASTERS @ONELIST.COM] I'll risk the wrath of the group by asking it here.

I recently upgraded my computer by moving 2 HDs and CD drive from a 486/66 box to one
with a Pentium 150 MB. Win 95 pretty much PnP'ed itself into working with the new MB
and things worked OK... except:

The old system consisted of a C: drive, a second drive partitioned into D: and E:, and
the CD on F:. Unfortunately after moving things the CD now comes up as E: and has
bumped the second partition of the second drive to F:. A result is that a lot of
software (including Power Tracks - see, this *is* recording related) now no longer
works because it was installed so as to use space on "E:."
If this was NT It's be no problem swapping things back to where they should be but I
haven't figured a way to tell Win 95 to use different drive letter designations. FWIW
- I suspect this happened because I have drives cabled differently - before, the
second HD and the CD shared an IDE cable. Now the Two HDs are on the same cable and
the CD is by itself on the second IDE cable. Does anyone know a way to reassign these
drive letters?

Also, since the upgrade, I can't get my SB audio card to record anymore.
Maybe I need to reinstall the drivers or something.

Thanks,
Scott McKnight
