I would use my Corel Photopaint 7 to do it, or get a gif construction
shareware/timeware package for the job.  Gif construction set is the name
of one nice bit of software.  Dunno if you have the right OS for it, win95
it's written for, but i vaguely recall having it in win3.1 also.  you can
take any old bitmap through that program and get a web ready gif, animated
even.
