Not really, short of blowing your own PROM (not too hard with modern
boards, but wiping out the correct part would be difficult). My Dell
machine has a large Dell logo in its Phoenix BIOS that displays during the
POST either fullscreen or in the top corner, but it can't be removed from
Setup or with a Flash update.
Of course, one could put a delay switch over the video card so the monitor
only kicks in after the ads, but then it's not possible to see the POST.
I think Phoenix are the BIOS manufacturers who are going to be offering
advertising space - apparently they're the most popular BIOSes now. I
always had Award or AMI pegged as the top-selling ones though.
