I cant believe what have just happened a few minutes ago.
My primary harddisk, the one that I used in my P350, is dead.. and
I got no idea why!

With the hope that one of you will be able to understand what have
happened, here is a description of what have happened:

I was trying to download a file in the 486. Later on I decided that
I need the ISDN for it, so I switched to the P350. (I got only one
screen, keyboard and mouse, so I plug the cables to the other computer
when I switch.).

On the P350, the only OS that could use the ISDN was Windows 95.
I tried using it with DOS, but there was not enough memory to run
anything after loading the drivers..

I had DR-DOS 7.03 with its LOADER Bootloader, so I chose F1, the
option for Windows 95.

In the Windows 95 boot menu, the default is always set to MS-DOS 6.22.
(which I use when DR-DOS is not good enough for some nasty program).
So I scrolled up to select "Normal", which will bring me to Windows 95.

Once I pressed Enter, though, I noticed that I selected the wrong
option. My hands where reaching to the CTRL+ALT+DEL when I noticed
that that option was No.2, that is, "log the boot to BOOTLOG.TXT".
(just about one of the only usefull option Windows introduced.)
I figured that i'll just let it ran, as it wouldnt matter much. But
my hands where allready on the CTRL+ALT+DEL, and I wasnt quick enough
to stop. So the computer rebooted.

And then it happened.

This entire process of figuring out which option I have accidently
selected and thinking "oh well, why not" took about 0.5 seconds or less.
It took me about 1 second to press the CTRL+ALT+DEL combination.
Windows, appearntly, was still copying the MS-DOS 7 files to place
while I pressed the buttons. (MS-DOS 6.22 was used last time, so its
files where still there.).

Next thing I knew.. there goes the partition.

I was SHOCKED! (if it wasnt 5:10am, my scream would have probebly
be heard trough the entire street. Fortunatly enough, I managed
to control myself and settle with a face that would have made any
self respecting zombie to be proud.).

After resuming control over myself I quickly ran to the BIOS.
The automatic detection could not find the hard disk at all.

I then rebooted without saving, and stuffed in a DOS bootdisk.
What I found out was, that the rest of the partitions seems to have
survived. The primary partition however (C:), was not only extremly
empty, but was also 53MB in total. ugh.

That, was seposed to be a 2G partition. It WAS, a 2G partition,
with alot of data.

Any idea what have happened?.. more imporantly, any idea if I can
restore anything?..
