Hi Steven,
I discovered the same thing a couple of years ago. It
seemed that my (still needs a new HDD) Toshiba would not
run on MS-DOS. I suspect that Toshiba makes their DOS
freely available because it is only of interest to people
who have Toshibas and every copy has been paid for when
the machine was bought.
