Depends on how old.  If you can get into Setup, you can explain to the
system once again what sort of Harddrive you have.  But you'll still
probably have to find and replace the CMOS battery.  And you'll probably
have to open up the machine in any case, to find out what sort of HD you
actually have, so you know how to configure the beast.

I also haven't found Zenith Data Systems to be one of those companies
that required "setup disks" for their machines (as Compaq often did),
but I seem to end up with a lot more old Compaqs than old Zeniths.

In my experience, ZDS has been pretty good about keeping old drivers &
configuration info & such available.  I know I had good luck finding
their stuff on Compuserve.  Honestly don't recall if I ever hadda look
at a webpage for them.  I think when I had to fix an aging Zenith
monitor, I found the info I needed on Compuserve, also.

If you get stuck & don't have Compuserve & can't find it on the Web,
holler & I'll see what's there.
