I have a Tandy 1000 myself, but it does have a suffix, TX. I've been
using e-mail on my Toshiba 1600 laptop, not much more advanced; it has a
2400 baud modem. I called my local county library, asked them how to set
up an account, and I was up and running e-mail in no time. Using an
ordinary communications program--mine is PROCOMM--you should have no
trouble with the RAM if you find such an account.
