hi all.
well guess what? a wonderful couple just built me a new computer car
complete with a 486dx-100 engine, anew body and everything! i also have a
cd rom drive and sound setup so am needing some guidance on reading cd roms.

especially if the visual thing plays a part. do i need to look for a
special file on the disk to access whatever goodies that disk contains, or i
s
there a universal start command to access data cd roms? in dos, of course.
also, if anyone has a tip on real audio and dos let me know. i have a us
robotics sporster 33.6k modem and have never seen this speed noted on real
audio sites. will the 28.8 option be enough? hmmmm i think that is all i
need to ask at the moment. oh wait, good sources for out dated cd rom
packages, as i want a few. I have a few titles i am seeking specifically,
but am interested in finding others that run in dos.
now, as always, if my question is to *me* specific, email me off list with
the answers,
thanks,

make your own kind of music!
