First, thank you people for the idea to attempt to reconstruct
the destroyed P350 C: partition by using the backup FAT. I didnt
do it yet, but as far as I saw from testing software, the backup
FAT seems to have the data intact. It worth a shot..
But I have a question: I was directed to Simtel to get a DOS utility
that will do it. Thing is, that C: also had Windows 95 on it
as well as DR-DOS 7.02 and MS-DOS 6.22. Now, DR-DOS and MS-DOS do
not do any problem. But I am afraid that Windows might. The problem
is the LFN. Will the DOS based FAT restoration from backup utilities
will work correctly, although the LFN that Windows putted all over the
disk?
