Actually, it is possible. I use an adaptor in reverse to use my NEC Multisync II monitor, which has an EGA interface, to my VGA card. Get Belkin part no. F2N163, Description VGA/EGA Adapter Block - High Density DB15 Male to DB9 Female. Have fun!
