Not really, it sounds like just another "norweigan story" (we tell stories
about how the norweigans do all kind of stupid things and they tell the
stories the other way around ) where norweigans descied to be able to send
mail but not recieve it. To bad it's the truth this time :/
Ex. of such a story (substitute norweigans with swedes if you live in Norway):
Why do the norweigans go around with cardoors in the desert?
To be able to open the window if it gets hot!
