I think I'll stay with Minuet for DOS.
I normally download 10 newsgroups without any problem.
It has the ability to download very quickly and you read the news
offline, very important in Argentina as we pay the telephone by the
second.

I read that you can find two excellent news servers looking in:
www.alibis.com ($ 100 for one year)
www.budgetnews.com ($ 90 for one year)
