Our software is programmed in Brisbane Australia. It's a DOS program
and it is the fastest and cheapest in Australia for
businesses like hardware stores and auto parts stores, that have
large amounts of stock and need point of sale functions.

I'm currently working on a program that lets such business do
stocktakes with a PDE (portable data entry unit - i think) in QBASIC
(!!!) and compiled in QB4.5.

You CANT run a Windows based POS at an INSTANT speed (eg delays with
printing etc) where a customer might be waiting for their reciept
etc.

ONLY A REAL MODE DOS PROGRAM IS RELIABLE AND FAST ENOUGH in this
field!
