 ] Hail Dos masters!
] I was wondering if any of the programmers out there know of any links
] dedicated to the exchange of information on Dos programming in (don't laugh)
] BASIC. I have a few but a lot of them are now non existant. Also, are there
] any mail lists dedicated to Dos programming? I am not a professional
] programmer; in fact I am self taught with Quick Basic 4.5, which is one of the
] few good MS apps. What I am looking for is a place to ask questions and
 ] exchange ideas.

One day I was searching in (often) the best way:
www.whatever-you're-looking-for.com and came across www.qbasic.com.
There was a surprising number of programs there, including Space
Invaders that use VGA with SoundBlaster support! It even ran
respectibly on my 386DX40.

I haven't been there for a while, but IIRC, there was forums
discussing different programs, places you can upload your program if
you want to share, and quite a lot of info. (Theres a disclaimer
saying they're not associated to M$ in any way, they just think that
QBasic is quite good)
