I noticed that no problems have been reported due to the date 990909 (which
was claimed to create problems - the explanation why it should is still
highly unlogical) in the majority of the world (I haven't seen that nothing
has happened in N/S-America yet, and no reports what so ever from the rest
of the world).
Funny Japan was considered to be one of the countries were the least work
had been done to "fix the problem". If no problems occured then that must
be because there wasn't any, right?
I never saw any problems with GPS either when it switched from 1023 to 0
(in weeks from the start) - did anyone else?
When the bells ring in the new millenia I believe there will be no problems
what so ever. The "Y2K problem" is in humans (like there was reports of
terrible things to happen the first time we changed) and therefor countless
companys, organization and govermental instituions etc. around the world
have, more or less, given money away to "computer experts".
Perhaps it will be a hard time stating that you know things about computers
when the truth comes out to the public. :(
I guess time will tell if I'm right - 2 of 3 sofar seem to have been correct...
