The Unix "find" command is excellent for that (and a whole
lot more) and has been ported to DOS:

simtelnet/gnu/gnuish/find32.zip

There's also a more recent version somewhere in /gnu/djgpp.

For DOS binaries of all the most common Unix text utilities,

/simtelnet/gnu/gnuish/dos_only/tut111ax.zip
