I had difficulty, but followed the thread down until I got to the point
where this individual was selling "copies" for $65 and no docs.
First, I doubt Semantec approves of that one bit.
Second, DESQview is not worth much unless you have QEMM installed and
everything optimized to the max. Despite the great automatic optimize
program for QEMM, there are other things you just have to refer to the
manual for. For DV you also need that manual. Anything simple can
often require you cross your t's and dot your i's.
My manuals are old, and not all there after multiple moves. I've been
using QEMM & DV for more than a half dozen years now ... and I wouldn't
want to be without my books. I just referred to them again a couple of
months ago, to fine tune some stuff.
I went searching on the web, and found two places listed ... one URL no
longer exists, and the other place is selling version 1.1 [if they even
have that]. I think the 2nd is about as worthwhile as the one that no
longer exists. I checked out suplus.com and they don't even have DV/X
which would work given the opportunity ... only DV development tools.
I've given up hunting -- don't have the time. If I run across anything
worthwhile I'll throw a message somewhere -- probably Arachne list.
