Different information channels. I knew all of these within a day
(not Netscape, I'm not that old). Within the Linux community
CivIII had been long awaited and everyone knew it was coming.
I admit, this is only within the Linux community, but it works the
other way round. Myself I found out only a week ago MS Office 2000
was released. Everyone thought I was stupid, when I told about it
to one of my on-line friends, he just asked "Is it out then?".
